“I think one of the most painful things one must endure in life iswaiting. Especially when you are teased and taunted with the prospect, when everything around you seems to remind you of what you are waiting for, what you are missing out on. The sad thing about this is that you have never known any different and one day you stop yourself and you realize just how long you have been waiting and how much you have missed out on and how much has passed you by. I think what hurts the most is that I had you for a brief moment, I knew what it felt like, and then you were snatched away from me. Why? I thought that I had waited long enough, I though that because of this I would finally receive what I deserve. I thought that after waiting so long and being so unhappy I would deserve to hold onto this happiness for longer. I guess I’ll always be waiting, and knowing that is the worst possible feeling, it’s forever.”

I was watching an old episode of grey’s anatomy today while working out , and at the end of the episode something really caught my attention.

And the most we can hope for… Is to forget.” - Meredith Grey

I guess all we can hope for is one day we’re really going to forget that things that hurt us and the people that betrayed us, cause really that’s the only thing we can do to move on..
